The Choir of MCC Toronto invites you to cozy up to the holiday spirit at our popular Christmas Concert on Saturday, November 23 at 7:00 pm in the Sanctuary, at MCC Toronto (115 Simpson Ave).

This year, our new Music Director, Jason Jestadt gifts you an evening of choral music that will sure to move and surprise you!

Some of the special guest performers joining us includes Thom Allison, Julie Michels, Cantor David Rosen, Cailin Stadynk and Lauren Margison.

We know their musical gifts will delight and inspire you as they do for us when we make music together.

From the producers of “Any Dream Will Do”, revisit the magic of childhood when the iconic music of master songwriter Alan Menken takes on a life of its own. Discover how one man’s music gave us a whole new world of animated characters, stories, and classic films. Hear all the popular hits from Disney’s animated feature films, Aladdin, Beauty & the Beast, The Little Mermaid, and Pocahontas. Sing, hum along, or simply delight in the delight of youngsters captivated by beloved favourites including Be Our Guest, Part of Your World, Under the Sea, Colour of the Wind, Go the Distance, Suddenly Seymour, and or course Aladdin’s signature song, A Whole New World.

Broadway alums Evan Kinnane, Lee MacDougall, and Thom Allison will star in the musical in January 2020.

UNFORGETTABLE: THE NAT KING COLE STORY (Living Arts Centre, Mississauga) - Feb. 28, 2020 8:00PM

A salute to the 100th anniversary of the great American pop/jazz singer, Nat King Cole, and his iconic hits Mona Lisa, Nature Boy and, of course, Unforgettable – featuring Thom Allison and Alana Bridgewater, stars of Canadian stage and television, and a five-member band featuring some of Toronto’s finest jazz players, with script and staging by Richard Ouzounian and music direction by David Warrack.

Unforgettable follows Nat King Cole through his phenomenal life journey. The son of an Alabama preacher, the jazz pianist who becomes a worldwide singing sensation, the first performer of color to star in his own TV program; Nat King Cole was a beloved superstar whose appeal transcended the boundaries of race, culture, and geography. As the most recognizable American voice since Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole won the love of millions with his musical prowess and down-to-earth personality.
